Three ways in

Money, a Saturday, or a pallet of something useful

All three end up as the same thing: a basket in a kid's hands before Easter morning.

Volunteer

No experience needed and kids can help. Most of the work is sorting, filling, wrapping and loading.

Volunteer opportunities and event dates are managed through our Share Detroit profile, which is where sign-ups happen.

When

The weeks before Easter, plus occasional sorting sessions earlier in the season.

Who

Individuals, families, church groups, school groups and company teams. Roughly 40 to 50 people are on the volunteer list.

What

Sorting by age group, filling baskets, checking against the quality control list, wrapping, loading vehicles.

Business sponsorship

Three ways a company can plug in, and one of them doubles as a team day.

Fund a batch

Cover the cost of a set number of baskets for the season.

Donate in-kind

Bulk product works best. Socks, toothbrushes, hygiene items, snacks, toys.

Host an assembly event

Your team assembles baskets on site as a team-building day. We bring the supplies and the checklist, you bring the people.
